Court looks back.
Mediation moves forward.

When a dispute needs resolving — a business disagreement, a construction dispute, a conflict that's stalled — mediation gives both sides a way to move ahead together, without the cost and combat of a courtroom.

About the Mediator

Conflict has a way of keeping people stuck. Whether it's a dispute over a construction project, a real estate transaction, a disagreement between neighbors, or challenges affecting a student's attendance, unresolved conflict often grows more expensive, more stressful, and more personal over time.

My role isn't to tell people what to do. My role is to create an environment where people can think clearly, understand one another, and develop solutions they believe in and are willing to follow through on.

Throughout my career in construction, real estate, project management, and business operations, I've worked alongside homeowners, contractors, business owners, and families navigating difficult decisions involving significant financial and emotional consequences. Those experiences taught me that most conflicts aren't simply about contracts, money, or communication. They're about people trying to solve problems while carrying different experiences, expectations, and perspectives.

As a trained mediator, I bring structure, neutrality, and practical problem solving to every conversation. My additional training in life coaching has strengthened my ability to help people move beyond reactive thinking so they can make thoughtful decisions that create lasting resolution.

I have a particular passion for helping clients in three areas:

Construction Disputes

Construction projects involve countless decisions, changing expectations, and significant investments. My background in construction allows me to understand both the technical and human sides of these conflicts while helping parties work toward practical solutions.

Real Estate Disputes

Real estate transactions are often some of life's largest financial decisions. Whether the conflict involves buyers, sellers, agents, contractors, or property issues, I help parties work through disagreements with clarity and focus on solutions rather than positions.

Truancy Mediation

Students, parents, and schools all want the same outcome: helping young people succeed. I enjoy bringing families and schools together to create practical plans that support attendance, accountability, and long-term success.

I believe the strongest solutions are the ones people create together. When a solution makes sense to the people who must live with it, they're far more likely to carry it forward.

My goal is simple: to help people work through conflict so it no longer controls their decisions, their relationships, or their future.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Conflict doesn't have to end in a winner and a loser.

Litigation is built to look backward — assigning blame, relitigating what already happened, deciding who was right. Mediation starts from a different question: given where things stand now, what does a workable path forward actually look like for everyone involved?

That shift changes everything about the process. Instead of arguments filed against each other, both sides sit down with a neutral mediator to find common ground. Instead of a judgment handed down, the people in the dispute shape their own resolution. It tends to be faster, less expensive, and far less corrosive to relationships that may need to continue — a business partnership, a contractor relationship, a family.

Resolved Mediation was built around that belief: that most conflicts are more solvable than they feel in the moment, and that a calm, structured conversation is often the shortest real path out of one.

HOW CAN WE HELP

Mediation services

Every dispute is different, but two situations come up again and again.

COMMERCIAL

Business & Commercial Disputes

Partnership disagreements, contract disputes, vendor conflicts, and disputes between business owners. Mediation helps both sides protect the relationship and the bottom line, without the delay and expense of litigation.

CONSTRUCTION

Construction Disputes

Disagreements over scope, timelines, payment, or workmanship between owners, contractors, and subcontractors. Mediation gets projects unstuck and keeps working relationships intact for the next job.

Also available on request: family, workplace, and community mediation. If your situation doesn't fit neatly into the categories above, reach out — many disputes are still a good fit for mediation.

THE PROCESS

How mediation works

A side-by-side look at what changes when a dispute moves from a courtroom to a mediation table.

In Court

  • A judge or jury decides the outcome for you

  • Process can take months or years

  • Proceedings are part of the public record

  • Adversarial by design — one side wins, one loses

  • Legal fees accumulate regardless of outcome

In Mediation

  • You and the other party shape the resolution together

  • Often resolved in a single session or a few weeks

  • Conversations stay private and confidential

  • Collaborative — built around common ground

  • Typically a fraction of the cost of litigation

1

Initial Consultation

A short conversation to understand the dispute, confirm mediation is a good fit, and schedule the first session.

2

Joint Session

Both parties meet with the mediator to lay out the issues, ask questions, and begin working toward common ground.

3

Resolution

Once an agreement takes shape, it's put in writing — a clear, workable resolution both sides helped create.

Confidential

Discussions in mediation are private and generally can't be used in later court proceedings.

Faster

Many disputes reach resolution in a single session, compared to months or years in litigation.

Lower Cost

Without ongoing attorney hours and court fees, mediation is typically far less expensive than a lawsuit.
